I purchased the full SuSE 5.3 package, and the Linux Office Suite 99
package...

I've tried several other flavors of Linux, but the SuSE 5.3 is by far
the most complete, easiest to configure, user friendly Unix-based
operating system that I've ever used...

I love it...

Until this release, I would not have felt comfortable in recommending
Linux to a novice computer user...

About Databases:

I'm quite pleased with the way Adabas D installs, but I have one
request...

You really need a GUI front end for Adabas D, similar to MS Access.
It's the only thing the Adabas D application is missing...

The starbase frontend that comes with StarOffice is a great idea, but I
haven't had time to play with it yet, so I don't know if it will do what
I
want...

I also don't know if it will work with Adabas or not yet...

I have tried a few of the GUI front-ends available, but the only one
I've tried that allows updates and modifications to existing table
designs is MS Access...

I will not be happy, until I find a GUI front-end that allows me to add,

remove or modify fields in a table, after the initial table has been
created...

As a general rule, I'm incredibly happy with the 5.3 version of SuSE,
and I'm looking forward to purchasing the 6.0 version as soon as it's
ready to ship...

Have a great weekend...
