Word I get here is that elm has security holes, is no longer
supported, and the people who used to support it have moved on to mutt,
which is derived from elm. This might have something to do with the lack
of man pages on elm. When you set it up, you need to specify a separate
pop server from the SMTP server, so that both won't point at the same
server. So name your POP3 server pop.whatever.org_or_com and your SMTP
server mailhost.whatever.org_or_net_or_whatever and it should work with
mutt.
