Just for entirety

'The Java Plug-in software enables users to direct Java applets or
JavaBeans components on their intranet web pages to run using Sun's Java
Runtime Environment (JRE) instead of the web browser's default virtual
machine. '

I understand the JRE contains the plug-in your after... I couldn't
confirm the Version (company firewall prevents FTP).

Download the JRE from your nearest mirror

Hope this helps! sorry about the misunderstanding.

I'm not refering to the java development kit, which is included in SuSe,
but
the Java PlugIn 1.1.6 wich as I know is already ported to Linux, but
when I
go to the pages of Sun I'm sent to a dead link at Blackdown. I've also
searched Blackdown myself, and found nothing.

Does anyone know where to find this piece of software.
