There is an NTFS driver out there now, you can compile it
as a module, and it works. It was a little buggy in certain
things like carrying permissions over. That was a few months ago,
it may be better by now.

Welcome to the club of Suse users who messed their compilers
up with glibc and egcs. You are not the only one this has
happened to.

On a humorous note, suse users have been complaining about how to
use the glibc libraries, but in the Redhat groups, they are
asking how the can use the older libc5 libraries to compile
certain things.

I plan on having a dual boot, one with suse 5 and one with suse 6,
until the problems are worked out.
