You can type

                Jobs

To display all processes running in the background

And to bring them forward use

                Fg <num>

Where <num> is the process number.

Hope this helps, have a good weekend all.

                Andy

If a program is in the foreground press
Control-z and type bg to send
                                to background...

I'm not sure about the other way round
(currenly 'using' NT so can't
                                check !)

Have a nice weekend gang !.

                                Hi,

one can let a process run in the background
by adding a & to the
                                end of the commandline.

How do I get it to the foreground again?
And then move it to the
                                background again?

                                Thanks

                                Nico
