THANKS for all the replies to my question:
How to traverse directory tree sans filenames?

There were a variety of answers, but the best answer was to use:

find / -type d

The main reason I want to do this is to compare the difference between
directory layouts between SuSE and Redhat distributions.

I wanna know why (precisely) some Redhat RPM's won't properly
install in SuSE (and vice versa).

Any insights into this question will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, again...
