THANKS for all the replies to my question: How to traverse directory tree sans filenames? There were a variety of answers, but the best answer was to use: find / -type d The main reason I want to do this is to compare the difference between directory layouts between SuSE and Redhat distributions. I wanna know why (precisely) some Redhat RPM's won't properly install in SuSE (and vice versa). Any insights into this question will be greatly appreciated! Thanks, again... -Larry RPM Browser for Windows http://www.laysi.com/rpmbw/ - To get out of this list, please send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/ and the archiv at http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html
