I think SuSE does write drivers.  Several people have commented to me that they
went to SuSE because they needed the drivers for their stuff.  One of the main
X developers is on SuSEs payroll.

Besides, since it's open source, any of these big guys could put a small team of
programmers on a driver for a couple of weeks.  No, there's more to this Red
Hat revolution than meets the eye.
