Lenz,

This card is rather new. I have the Hauppauge Wincast-dbx card, which
cuurently not configured and it may be a good one, but due to some of
the fear of blowing way the eeprom I've held off.

Matrox, I've been told, is more friendly to Linxu developers than is
Hauppauge; more likely to provide necessary info. Would you expect that
future drivers with fuller capabilites will become available for the
G200?

In a similar vane I've heard the Diamond MX200 is a great sound card,
but my impression is that Diamond is very unfriendly toward Linux. These
attitudes will determine whose products I purchase in the future.

Regards,

Bob Russell
