I have just noticed that each bootup produces a message in
/var/log/faillog. The message is simply "tty1" followed by a hex
string that includes an ASCII "6". I really don't know when this
started, but it wasn't there just after my install of SuSE. Aside from
the message, there seems to be no problem.

What does it mean? Should I worry? Is there a fix?
