Stupid me. I installed libc5 applix 4.4.1 off the Office99 cd and then
installed the glibc filter updates. It didnt dawn on me until I read
the web page LenZ references above with the discussion about the glibc
version being on CD2. If you install office99 be sure to apply the right
filter packs.
