Hi!

I got some error-messages when booting my newly compiled 2.2.0 kernel. The
message said something like: modprobe:canīt locate char-major-4.
I looked in /etc/conf.modules and found a line like:
"alias char-major-4 serial"
I changed the line to: "alias char-major-4 off"
This worked for me.........
(Perhaps deleting the line would work to?)

Regards
/Mats
