there are only a few posts to this list concerning any aspect of applix... I
did purchase it and have used it about 4 yrs ago so my memory is not
detailed and the versions changed somewhat... what I do remember is that it
is a complete MSoffice replacement, it has an ELF programming language which
is good but different than any other language we would use so the learning
curve is high, but the language compatibility with all the packages is more
complete then any package I've seen....  I guess they should consider
porting their language compiler to accept awk/perl syntax as more unix users
will know awk or perl than ELF,  and why learn another stinking language?
we're not language professors!

Anybody here used the applixware data portion of applixware suite ?

Is it just a frnt end for sql ?

How easy is it for basic data entry and one to meny data entry operations ?

Is there any programing interface , if so what language / sysntax does it
use ?

Any one have the url for it ?? I cant find any detialed info on the data
part of the package .
