An RPM file is an RPM file, its a type of archive for storing and
sharing files basically, the problem is (not always though) that you
will have instances where installing a redhat RPM requires certain files
to be in certain locations that differ from SuSE. In those instances you
may want to look at other avenues for installing that program/file as it
could lead to complications with running that particular program/file.
