I recommend the combinatin of windowmaker and Gnome 99.8. It just
looks slick. Gnome 99.8 is available for SuSE 6 and they say that a
version for 5.3 should be coming.
I have run englightenment but its not my personal cup of tea. I dont
run kde whatsoever. Had lots of problems even with the 1.1 release on
SuSE 6 here.
