rite thats normal it needs the driver/module for the card --no biggie

rite... If your card is a ne2000 or compatible <mine is a lynksys>
0x300 is correct If I rember correctly you may just use 300 its either
one or the other

well thats the easy part! ;-) there will be a few more things you need
to do once you have the driver/module for the card loaded..
I havent done this in about 4 - 5 months so bear with me but
First you have to mount the cd on the "server side" in yast with the
mount point of
/var/adm/mnt or /var/adm/mount <very important and to my knowledge this
isnt documented>
on the "client" side you'll be asked if you want to log on as anonymous
or a user
you need to be a known user on the server machine and not root
select user - it prompts you for a name and password - then if the cds
mounted in the suggested dir on the server -in yast, Then yast kickes in
on the client and the install begins
I really went nuts with this but someone from the list helped me and
when it works its a beautiful thing <grin>... when it dosent... <it
sucks>
