I just upgraded my machine and now have a Matrox G200 card in it. Downloading
and installing XFree86 v3.3.3 was reasonably painless (why no new sax? Would've
made it completely painless.)

Earlier I had an old Matrox Millennium board. With it I could (although it was
by no means a pleasure) run Quake-2 in an X window. With the G200 card, any
such attempt immediately crashes X.

What do I need to do to make it work in X?

How do I configure SVGAlib such that it takes advantage of the G200 board (at
least better than at 320x200.) ?
