I haven't had any problems with my celeron 300a.
Although I bought an extra fan a good one and overclocked it to 450.
I ran some stress tests and it works great.
I've also run suse 5.3 on a 486 it was slow as a frozen sloth but it
worked.
I even ran kde with it.
