Thanks to everyone who replied to my Staroffice problem.
It is my understanding now that there is a message displayed when the
Staroffice package is selected that tells you to run sosetup to complete the
installation of Staroffice. I guess I just missed this message during the
excitement of this install. I feel that it would of been nice if this was
mentioned in the manual for those of us that sometimes miss important messages
like this.
