Hi ppl,
I bought SuSE 6.0 two days ago for fun and now i have a problem....
I have a 3Com Ethernet PCI Card in my computer, It works with no problem
with Solaris 7, and Linux Red Had 5.2 and FreeBSD but with SuSE it is giving
me headaches... :-(
I can see the module loaded, i use ifconfig and see the eth0 up, i use route
and see all routes and the default gateway, but that's it....
When i try to ping anything other than the 127.0.0.1 ou my own ethernet IP
address it doesn't work... It doesn't give me any message, simply i lost all
ICMP echos....
I tried to configure the 3Com with Yast and by hand, nothing works....
Anyone knows what's is missing here?!?!? I still don't understand the
configurarion files of SuSE. Too many year with Red Hat and Solaris ;-)
