That card will probably give you alot of trouble with any cd burner

That is perfect french regarding that card. I tried a couple of kernel
builds
to get that card to work as an Adaptec...no go.
The only good use for that card, is if you have an old 486 that you
want to use as a dedicated controller for the scanner.
