Hi,

I am trying to load the beta version on a somewhat older Toshiba
T2130CT notebook computer. So far, I have successfully cut the
old Windows95 partition down to 176 MB leaving about 350 MB free
for the Linux partition. I also prepared the disks according to
Bodo Bauer's message of Dec. 3rd. I boot from the eide01 disk
image and YaST comes up. Then I proceed to load version 6.0 via
ftp. It successfully pulls some files over from ftp.suse.com and
reports that it has got them alright. Then the next screen comes
up and says `An error occured during installation' and brings me
back to the Start installation menu.

Can anybody help me over this hurdle? Is there a way to make YaST
to tell what exactly it is that went wrong? Do I have the wrong
disk image?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Best regards and happy new year, Alex Angerhofer.
