We use VS 5.0 (VFP 5.0) where I work. When VS 6 came out I pushed for
it, because of the bugs in VFP 5.0. I was first of 15 pgmrs on the
staff to upgrade to VFP 6.0. It didn't take too long to realize that
the released version wasn't even as good or as stable as the beta R1
release, which I had tested and on the basis of which I pushed for the
upgrade. Now, I am too deep into the biggest app the dept has to revert
to VFP 5.0, but rest assured that none of our other prgmrs will share
the egg I have on my face for believing in M$ VFP 6 hype. (I attended
the FoxPro bash at Orlando last March and "saw" VFP 6 running... On the
basis of the video tape that M$ produced and showed at the trial, it
becomes apparent that I saw a "laboratory" version of VFP6 at Orlando.)

I will never be burned by M$ hype again, because I will never buy or
recommend another M$ product.
