Robert "I taught at Stanford" Cringely is just passing along some FUD
from M$. A lot of that junk is being dispensed by many "news" outlets
whose major source of revenue is Windows products. These stories act
like headlights to deer, keeping them frozen in their tracks till they
get run over. In the consumer's case it will be M$ that run's them
down, then they will learn, if they down't already know, what the
meaning of "crash" is and how much it costs them.
