hey all I'd like to make sure that my settings for x are safe, while still allowing full functionality. I've got a viewsonic G773 monitor, and a sis 5597/8 chip with two megs of memory. Sax had my monitor listed, but not my chip. I can't locate the right server in the in the database anywhere-I'm using the svga. Before I get everything adjusted and fine tuned, I'd like to be sure that I have the basic stuff as right as it can get. Any ideas or words of wisdom?
