I am trying to install a trial version of SuSE Linux 5.3 (magazin: PC Intern 11/98). When I am trying to configer xwindows via Yast. When xconfig86 starts my screen has green vertical bars. So I cannot go any further. I think there is something wrong with the communication between the monitor (Philips 15A brilliance) and the videocard (Matrox Millenium 4 mb). What must I do to get it right?
