Well,before you guys go rushing off telling me to read the docs...
(1)been there.
(2)done that
(3)try it ??
I need an easy to understand approach to building rpms.
i often need to upgrade packages,and these are not catered for
by SuSE.
For instance windowmaker,i used to do this by hand,but now i can
use a ready made rpm,thanks to someone who bothered.
i need the new perl,and even though in its the beta6.0 dist,it won`t
work.
i guess it wants glibc2 ??.
we should do this often,as we have an incoming on ftp.suse.com,that
no-one
uses.
please help if you can.
