There is only one way to find out... ;-)
seriously though, if you have space and the machine is not doing anything
it certainly wouldnt do any harm.
Also, the "bug" was in yast and a fix issued see
http://www.suse.de/e/patches/53_update.html
however Im not sure how to apply it if you're about to install.
Maybe a mail to suse? I havent noticed Hubert or LenZ on the list in a week
or so
actually there was another workaround that Alan Riggins gave me when I
first installed in Sept exactly at the time of the release. Its just a
matter of using fdisk instead of yast to partition the disk (if I remember
correctly)
