|| I like nedit for things. If I want to brew some coffee, take a walk
|| around the block, and conquer world hunger, I just start up emacs :)
|| BTW, nedit comes with suse 5.3; has a nice interface, easy to setup and
|| use, and looks familiar. I am a user on the win32 side of
|| ultraedit32. It has a great interface and ability. Nothing beats pico
|| for a lot of stuff though.
I personally am a fan of emacs, and I guess I always be. As we sit here and
talk about what is the best editor, I love the fact that not only is emacs a
superior editor to any, but if there are feature that I like about a given
editor, I can always add it to emacs.
Of course I am also a person who would rather LaTeX and a good style, rather
than a Gooey (or is that GUI) whiz bang, word processor. It is the purist in me
(or is it masachist?).
