This is a known problem with tkrat and has been reported to SuSE and the
package maintainer. I have a workaround that loads the locale
information through a small script and then starts tkrat. Would you
like that?
I think tkrat is a very nice email client. Give it a try with my
little script. I have not found one that suits my way of working more
than tkrat. It has some very complex features like a database, good
search abilities, nice folder handling, saved expressions for
searching, etc.
