Normally root isn't allowed to do this sort of things for the obvious
security reasons.
Login as a normal user using 'rsh' and then do a 'su -'.
An even beter solution is to install 'ssh': Secure Shell. You can find
ssh on ftp.replay.com for sure and probably elsewhere.
