As the asker of the original question I appreciate you taking the time to
explain all of this. However, I think it would be a good idea for SuSE to
document this. It is inevitable that some users will want to upgrade some
packages (for whatever reason) before SuSE are able to produce their next
release. Any chance of this happening?
