This has been bugging me ever since I discussed KDE on solaris 7 with
someone. He reminded me that GCC compiles 32-bit object code. Is there
a 64-bit GCC in the works? This is very important for the future port
of Linux to Merced and the like. I have the feeling that someone has to
be doing something along these lines. Anybody know?

Steve
