Ein Freund hat www.linux-support.net eroeffnet und hat mich zum Beta
testen eingeladen. Ich habe ihm Deine frage gestellt, weil mich das auch
interessiert hat, und seine Antwort war folgende:
Recent versions of xawtv will
support running remotely. It
should be noted that this is
going to tend to be rather
slow, and very taxing on both
machines.
Running xawtv, simply choose
"grabdisplay" as the method
instead of the default
"overlay". In fact, if you run it
remotely, it shouldn't give you
the option of "overlay".
As for network requirements, it
will use quite a significant
portion of 100Mbps ethernet and
will be kinda slow on 10Mbps
ethernet, just from my
experience, but still works.
The trouble here, of course, is
that youre sending fully
uncompressed video over the
native X protocol. If you're
willing to give up some picture
quality, there is a program
called pulp-vision which may
help you stream the video
better. It's available at:
