Hi,
I just got a BLADE 1000 loaded with Suse sparc 7.3 with a seperate disk on the
SCSI bus (left the Firewire disk in, but am not using it). After messing with
the partions a bit (fdisk) the load went very well.
The booting was a bit of a problem; had to slightly change the boot prom to:
boot-command boot linux
nvramrc= devalias linux /pci@8,70000/scsi@6,1/disk@0,0:c
During load the monitor Sun Model GDM-5510 worked fine with the X, also the
USB mouse and keyboard were fine.
After the load and a reboot from the hard disk, the system comes up fine
except that I'm having problems getting the X system to recognize the
USB mouse. I tried copying the XF86Config file mouse contents during the
working Suse load (boot CD) X window configuration, but, after various modifications
still cannot get X to recognize the USB mouse. (Keyboard is ok).
Does someone have a working XF86Config file for a BLADE 1000 with a USB mouse?
