[dcarter@mowgli dcarter]$ uptime 4:30pm up 140 days, 22:50, 1 user, load average: 0.14, 0.03, 0.04 [dcarter@mowgli dcarter]$ uname -a Linux mowgli 2.4.19-pre7 #2 Thu Apr 18 15:10:30 NZST 2002 sparc unknown [dcarter@mowgli dcarter]$ cat /proc/cpuinfo cpu : Fujitsu MB86904 fpu : Lsi Logic/Meiko L64804 or compatible promlib : Version 3 Revision 2 prom : 2.15 type : sun4m ncpus probed : 1 ncpus active : 1 BogoMips : 69.63 MMU type : Fujitsu Swift contexts : 256 nocache total : 1048576 nocache used : 281088 [dcarter@mowgli dcarter]$ IIRC from about 2.4.19-pre3 should work. Before that i had 373 days uptime on 2.4.2-pre3, but that was a little flakey, the machine would lookup solid for ~30 secs randomly when doing IO on the software raid, and towards the end processes placing a heavy load would randomly die with odd errors. In comparison 2.4.19-pre7 is running 100% stable, no complaints, no freezing, no dead processes. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
