Hi, Has anyone out there got suse linux running on an Ultra 60 (or 10/30/80) with USB support via an added PCI USB card? How does it work?
Also, has anyone run a Matrox (or other) PCI video card in an ultra 60 (or 10/30/80) with or without a UPA (creator/elite) card installed? I have a UPA c3d-s3 card, but want to go dual head on the cheap. The faq says it works, but I'm looking for proof! Any general comments on linux support for standard PCI cards in Sun hardware? Is it the same quality as on x86? Some background: I have an Ultra 2 now, and the option to buy a stripped U60. All of my components will transfer over, giving me roughly the same base machine. I'd like to make this move if I can add in the same type of PCI cards supported on x86 boxes. -Brad __________________________________________________ Yahoo! - We Remember 9-11: A tribute to the more than 3,000 lives lost http://dir.remember.yahoo.com/tribute -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
