Thorsten, First off, just want to say thanks to everyone for their hard work on the sparc distribution. I can finally compile an SMP kernel for my sparc 20. :)
As long as I use the vmlinuz.config file from your binary kernel from your ~kakuk/SPARC/kernel directory everything is fine. As soon as I make the ipfilter options compile into the kernel instead of modules, I get error at the end of the compilation, but I can live with them being modules. :) My most recent problem is resulting from the lack of a cc1plus file in /usr/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-suse-linux/3.2 directory. There's one in the 2.95.3 dir of the old distribution, and from what I can see on the web, in RedHat i386, and SuSE's gcc30 rpm. Was this an oversite in the rpm?
