Hi!

Here is the configuration that works for me:

Use autofs version 4 with the auto.net feature. With that you don't have to
make all these map-tables. But you should check whether you have autofs4
support compiled in the kernel (should be on the 2.4 kernels in SuSE, but to
be sure check /boot/vmlinuz.conf) and there is a line "alias autofs autofs4"
in /etc/modules.conf that should not have a # before it.
I'm using a ultra1 with SuSE and that works.
