Hi Karl,
Installing 7.3 on my SS5's did take about 3..4h, if I remember correctly.
One thing to check might be the error console, to look out for problems
with the CD-ROM.
I had that that none of my SS5 would install from the externally attached
SCSI CD-ROM, the installation would crash at some point due to SCSI
failures reading
the SCSI CD-ROM. Hence I did all my installs using NFS.

Is it just me, or does the installation seem to take a VERY long time? I
started the install at around 4pm. It's at 80% right now, and this is
just the default sets (with the GUI).
