I was able to get mozilla 1.2 to work with Suse 7.3 on my Ultra 5 with minimal work. There is a binary for it from http://mozilla.org . If I remember correctly, I just used the binary for linux. All I had to do was install zip 2.3 (you can use a higher version), and symlink my gtk lib files to the location the binary was searching for them. I don't remember exactly where that was, as I did this almost a year ago. Hope this is helpful.
