This is getting a little frustration. At work, I use (or need to use) Netscape
7, OpenOffice, Gnumeric, Matlab (v.R13), Gaim, and Yahoo Messenger. I used all
of these faithfully on my x86 machine. I figured putting Linux on the Ultra5
machine and recompiling everything would be okay. But, I can't seem to compile
OpenOffice and at 135 MB+, I imagine it's a beast. I gave up on Netscape 7.
Yahoo Messenger doesn't have source code provided. And, it took forever to
compile all of the Gnome stuff just to get Gnumeric (and Evolution) to work.

Should I just go back to Solaris?? I was displeased with the X resolution in
Solaris. Was it my imagination or, even with XFree86, was the resolution lower
(on the same machine) using Solaris 8 as opposed to SuSE Linux???

The original question is this. Is there a Freshmeat.NET for SuSE Sparc stuff??

Thanx in advance. Let me know something. I'm about to put Sol.8 back on this thing.
