Really ? It is giving me problems at boot time. How do I change this
setting if I can't see the screen to change it ?

Sorry if I'm showing my ignorance here. I recently acquired four SS10s with
the intention of putting SuSE on them, but I am coming from an x86 world and
the Sparcs are still a bit of a mystery to me.

Thanks,
Stuart.

You need to change the refresh and/or resolution settings, as Sun video
cards are
somewhat strange when it comes to the size and refresh rates. A
miltisync monitor
will have no issues with the refresh, but my KDS 19" (1 year old) had
serious
issues with the 1280x960 resolution the Sun card was outputting to it.
It kept giving
me "out of range" errors on the monitor. When I set it to 1280x1024,
everything
was fine. It didn't like the 1600x1024 setting on my Ultra 5, either,
but the 1600x1200
was fine.
