Hi, I am new to this list and have had a look through the archives. I have found some similar problems, but no answers. In brief: When installing Suse7.3 on my Ultra 5 I can use either YAST2 or text mode and I get the same result. If I pick an English Keyboard the system Hangs. I have got around this by installing with an American Keyboard, BUT......... The keyboard layout is totally out and I can't find some keys at all. During boot up if I need to enter things (i.e. fsck commands), then the keyboard behaves perfectly but once X has started the key mapping goes out of the window. I tried changing to UK again through YAST once the system had booted and it froze once again. I would appreciate some help with this!
