Greetings, after getting suspend to disk working successfully on my Dell X200 (with the patch for yaird; just sent a message about that), I have also been trying s2ram, but am having troubles: independent of the options of s2ram, of the boot parameters (I tried init=/bin/bash, nolapic, noapic, vga=0), it seems to suspend fine, but on resume the machine powers up (fan starts, HD gives a single click), but is otherwise dead:
- screen blank and black - no keyboard -- caps lock doesn't do anything and typing things like "ls", "find /" doesn't do anything; - no network -- cannot ssh in Seem to be able to get out only with the three-seconds-power-button push. The problem is similar to that mentioned for the same machine in http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2250 I realise this may be the wrong place to ask, but if anyone has tips for debugging, please let me know.
