Hello I'm using s2ram integrated within powersaved on an Acer TravelMate 801LCi which has been recognized as a TravelMate 800. Its graphics adapter is a Radeon M9 which suffers from the usual radeon chip problems. To get s2ram working on this box I had to use vbepost in
s2ram -f -p which I enabled in my /etc/powersave/sleep via SUSPEND2RAM_VBE_POST="yes". Here is my output from s2ram -i --- # s2ram -i This machine can be identified by: sys_vendor = "Acer" sys_product = "TravelMate 800" sys_version = "Rev 1 " bios_version = "4A20" See http://en.opensuse.org/S2ram for details. If you report a problem, please include the complete output above. --- and my kernel version: --- # uname -r Linux pan-thau-ra 2.6.17.6 #6 PREEMPT Sun Jul 23 11:55:56 CEST 2006 i686 GNU/Linux --- Greetings, Martin Sack ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
