Sorry, your card is a radeon 4xx series and I don't have any experience with that. However, it may be possible to still use radeonfb if you do one of the following: 1) include x86 emulator in radeonfb so it can POST the card (there was some code floating around for this last year. sorry, no pointers) 2) find out what the card BIOS does and merge that command sequence into radeon_pm.c Neither will be easy. Both have the potential to damage your hardware. So it would be wise to find a desktop machine with similar graphics hardware and test with it (damaged desktop PCIe graphics card is not as big a loss as a damaged laptop ggraphics card).
