If you report a problem, please include the complete output above. Needs SUSPEND2DISK_SHUTDOWN_MODE of firmware (in /etc/sysconfig/powersave/sleep) otherwise ACPI features like temperature and fan monitoring will not work after resumption. Newer (A08) BIOS is an absolute disaster. Original (A01) BIOS was hopeless. After resumption from suspend to disk loading grub and the kernel is very slow. Rebooting never works. apm suspend to disk (or ram) almost works but hangs after 3rd suspend cycle. No blinking LED on suspend. Only get ACPI lid events if power management is enabled in the BIOS(!). (I apologise for the lack of clarity in these notes. I wind up installing a lot of machines for other people but don't hold on to them for all that long. I hope that if I least send this it may give someone else a good starting point). -- Sitsofe | http://sucs.org/~sits/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
