Oops. That was an error of me, i meant "pm-suspend", but you figured that out :-) For testing pm-hibernate, an additional "swapon -a" would be necessary. > * s2arm -f : no display on resume, keyboard input (reboot) works > * s2ram -f -a 1 : corrupted display on resume, keyboard input > (reboot) works > * s2ram -f -a 2 : no display on resume, keyboard input (reboot) works > * /s2ram -f -a 3/ : works! text display on resume Good, we'll take that. > * pm-suspend (no S2RAM_OPTS) : does not work > * pm-suspend (S2RAM_OPTS = "-f) : works, no text display on resume, > keyboard input works > * pm-suspend (/S2RAM_OPTS = "-f -a 3"/) : works! text display on resume > *X-Windows (KDE)* > Tested with KDE using KPowerSave > > * No S2RAM_OPTS : "Suspend to Disk" works > * S2RAM_OPTS="-f" : "Suspend to Disk" and "Suspend to RAM" works. > For "Suspend to RAM", no text display during resume, Got back KDE Yes, the X server in this case restores the display. If we have a chance to get it working in text console also, we try to do this. This is why i asked you to test in text mode also :-) > * S2RAM_OPTS="-f -a 3 " : "Suspend to Disk" and "Suspend to RAM" > works. For "Suspend to RAM", text display during resume. No, this is exactly what we needed :-) Thanks for testing, the machine is added to the whitelist now. -- Stefan Seyfried QA / R&D Team Mobile Devices | "Any ideas, John?"
