I used 2.6.21rc6 the last 3 days and got the same issue and no additional debugging info (just Magic number: 0:692:668 ) Im not sure if i miss any rtc stuff in my kernel, but the resume-tracing help says it would screw up my clock and this is indeed happening. I dont know anything about printk and udelay, maybe i will look for a howto. > > I really am close to giving up, i already have apic and prefetching > > disabled and only use 1 module (for my wlan), i dont know what do do > > any more. > > That wlan may indeed be a problem. Because its a module? Well, the ipw3945 driver is only available as a module and since the resume mostly freezes after a few hours of uptime and the issue also can take days to appear again i would not be able to go online for a long time. But if no other choice, i could reboot the laptop with a no-modules kernel every morning before i go to work, suspend it, and try to resume when i come back. This scenerio has a very high probability of a frozen resume (like 50%) while after a fresh boot i can suspend and resume 30 times in a row without a issue (even with full ram) -- Sascha ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
