@ CCE-Tompkins, 615 Willow Avenue, Ithaca Want to be the sharpest tool in the shed? Give your garden tools some TLC this fall and they will perform better for winter and spring gardening tasks. Professional landscaper and pruner Bill Carini will demonstrate techniques for sharpening your pruning and digging tools. Participants should bring their own tools, such as hand pruners, pruning saws, shovels and spades, to practice sharpening techniques with the sharpening stones and files at the class.
